Welcome to the Great Falls Horse Network. This Network enables horse owners and riders in the Great Falls area to communicate about equestrian issues and activities. Our major focuses are overseeing the Equestrian Park at Turner Farm and preserving local equestrian trails.

Website: This website is one of three online tools supporting the network. On this website, you will find an overview of the Great Falls horse community and links to useful information.

Discussion Group: Our second tool and primary means of communication is through an online Yahoo Group (greatfalls4horses). This is a free service by Yahoo and enables all members to share information of interest to our equestrian community. We encourage members to use the forum to initiate topics and voice their opinions. We envision that the discussion forum will substitute for in-person meetings. Any horse-related topic suitable for an in-person meeting is suitable for the discussion group.

Bulletin Board: Finally, we have set up an online bulletin board. Although the Yahoo group is useful for discussing items and posting notices, its format does not lend itself to classified ads. The bulletin board presents data in a way more suited to ads. Anyone can post an ad or information about a horse-related product, service or event. Anyone can view the ads, but you need to register to post an ad. This is a separate registration from the Yahoo Group. It may be a little confusing at first, but we hope this arrangement will better serve our members. You must go to the bulletin board site to view the ads—individual messages will not be sent.

Help Expand the Network. We welcome your feedback as we expand our network and gain experience with these tools. We anticipate that it may take several years to grow our Network. Please let your friends and barn mates know about the Network and participate often in our discussion group. Our goal is to represent and promote the interests of horse owners and riders in the Great Falls area. We cannot do this without your input.
